Thanks for making Keezy's launch a success!
In the first week, over 100,000 of you downloaded the app; so far, over 36 million sounds have been played inside it. We’re happy our vision of a simple and fun instrument has resonated with so many of you.
Last week, we made a video with our friend Francis and the Lights demonstrating a few advanced Keezy techniques, including harmonies and composition. Click here to watch it on Vimeo!
Also, we’re carefully reading your emails, tweets, and App Store reviews (even the one-star ones). We’re focused on building the next version of Keezy and can’t wait to get it in your hands.

Good stuff happening at Elepath lately!

    psql:

Once upon a time, I was working on a thing called Cramera at Elepath. We wanted to bang out a fun, little camera app and try out a new process for building a product. I spent two weeks not only working on the interface, but also animating a quick commercial.

At Elepath, everybody chooses which project they want to commit their time towards, be it their own new project, or an existing one. The idea was that making the commercial for the finished product would inspire an engineer to want to work on the project with me. We got pretty close, but ended up killing the project for some other uncontrollable reasons.

This is a rough cut with ‘scratch’ voices done by me.

    lukesbeard:

Kyle’s thoughts on the beta for my first Elepath product sums up my feels as well. I can’t begin to express how amazing it is to work on a product like this with someone as ridiculously good as Kyle, he’s been killing it everyday. We are building my dream thing and I’m ecstatic about it.

We have seen an amazing response since we launched and some incredible stories being told, here are a few of my favourite exposures so far.

A little more about the release from Kyle.

Luke Beard, one of my Elepath colleagues, started talking about a photography website he wanted to build. A talented amateur photographer, he’s been wanting a way to build beautiful photo narratives for literally years. None of the existing platforms felt right for him, so he designed his dream app and convinced me to help him build a prototype. Fast forward many weeks of hard work and Exposure launched in beta this past Monday. We’ve both been beyond delighted with the response so far, and we’re just getting started.

Here are just some of the delightful posts folks have already shared. The post builder is completely what-you-see-is-what-you-get, and we use some fancy code to automatically build great-looking photo grids (you can also upload full-width photos if you want.)

So, if you’re a photographer, amateur, pro, or in between, and would like to give Exposure a try, we welcome you to join the beta list. We’re letting more folks in regularly.

We’re happy to announce the latest version of our first app, Thinglist.

Thinglist is your “want to-do” list. It’s a super-simple way to remember Things in your personal life, like a book your friend recommended, that new restaurant you’re eager to try, or an exciting new idea.

With this release, we’ve added the ability to share your Things in just a few taps. Every Thing gets a unique URL that you can text, email, or instant message to friends and family. And, if they’ve also got Thinglist, they can easily add the Things you’ve shared with them.

We’ve also included a number of bug fixes and localization improvements (Thinglist speaks English, Deutsch, Español, Français, Pусский, 日本語 and Italiano), as well as full support for iOS 7.

We hope you enjoy using Thinglist as much as we do.

Thinglist is available on the App Store. Grab it today!

We’ve spent the past month at Elepath designing a premium Tumblr theme that’s really fucking tight, we think. It’s almost done, but first, we need your help beta testing!
If you love Tumblr and post a lot, and want to help us make sure the theme is fucking awesome, send an email to fuckyeah@elepath.com with your blog address and a sentence telling us why you want to help out!
In return, you’ll get a free install of the theme (a $49 value) and we’ll buy you a beer next time we’re in the same city!
